Our labels are supplied on A4 sheets for use with all standard office laser printers.

All laser printer's have different setting and your manual should be consulted for printing labels.
 
CURRENT SETTING FOR PAPER SIZE        A4 (210 X 297)
 
MEDIA TYPE WILL DEPEND ON YOUR PRINTER TYPE:- 
 
      LABELS                    Best setting to control the printer temperature
      Transparencies        Alternate low heat setting when no label option on your printer
                Glossy or Thick         Alternate low heat setting
 	Toner Settings	Toner save ON, or 300 dpi for the best results
                The Foser is the heater in the Laser printer, some printer have setting in the menu to allow you to reduce the heat of the rollers,
                if possible this should be set to low, the menu can be found in your manual, reduction of the heat stops the heat and curling of our
                labels.
   
                HP2600
 

                Brother 5250DN

                This printer has no setting to change and does get very hot, we recommend setting for Transparencies, with the toner saver on
                set at 300 dpi, if printing large qty's small batches should be used due to the heat this printer generates. there is also a firmware upgrade
                for the printer fan operations at the brother web Site.
 
                HP 4000 / 4050
 
         
                Further along in the Paper Handling Menu, you will find “CONFIGURE FUSER MODE MENU = NO*.” After changing this to “YES,”
                you will find eleven additional menu items, each corresponding to the eleven allowable paper types for the 4050 (the number of types
                may be different on other printer models). You can set the temperature individually for each paper type.
 
                Default settings are “TRNSPRNCY = LOW,” “ROUGH = HIGH,” and “NORMAL” for all other types. If a given paper type has a
                tendency to curl, you may want to try lowering the temperature for that paper type. If toner doesn’t seem to fuse well on
                certain paper types (typically labels), try a higher temperature.

We have a labeling sequence as follows: 1-1a 1-1b 1-1c thru 1-48a,b,c.  When I use the sequence button it will only do 1-1a to 1-1c
If I try to put in 1-1a to 1-48c it gives me the entire alphabet in between. Do I have to input the info 3 at a time?

All you need to do is type 1-1a in the left hand box, type 1-48c in the right hand box and the important bit is to hit the tab key (above caps lock on your keyboard). This will log your entry properly and stop the whole alphabet being generated!

When Aligning the Cells on labels, make sure you have clicked on the Sequence you want to Align, then you can select (left, center, right) or if you need that little bit more room. (Top, Middle, Bottom)

This can be very use full when importing from three different excel sheets, to three different label fields.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 
 
 

Please make sure you insert the measurement from the edge of the paper and not the end of the black line, 99.00 or 100.50 or as full numbers 100.00

Download your results into your Plan-Um software from the Validator.

Export the file into a Excel spread sheet from the "Import / Export option" in the Plan-Um Software, then just copy the label numbers that you need from the spread sheet and copy / paste into the Sharpmark labeling Software.

Can be used for Cable labels, Patch Patch and Data Jack labels
